Pride Match Day is more than a game. It’s a citywide celebration of visibility, belonging, and community — anchored in the FIFA World Cup 2026™ and powered by the people, businesses, and neighborhoods that make Washington extraordinary.

A Citywide Celebration of Visibility
Guided by the Pride+ Matchday Impact Council, Pride Match Day was built to center LGBTQ+ inclusion on the world stage while ensuring meaningful, lasting impact for local LGBTQ+-owned businesses, artists, and organizations — from watch parties across the state to Pride Match Day gear designed by local artists.

Play, Shop, Celebrate Local
Through the SEA&WIN app, fans could tour LGBTQ+-owned businesses on the Capitol Hill and Pioneer Square routes or the dedicated Pride Loop, while the Unity Loop itself highlighted LGBTQ+-owned businesses and cultural spaces from Capitol Hill to the waterfront.
How We Pride
The "Welcome to Seattle: This Is How We Pride" campaign invited businesses, organizations, and neighborhoods to share their own "I Pride By..." stories, while SeattleFWC26 also offered free LGBTQ+ inclusion training to businesses statewide and sponsored Seattle Pride Parade and Trans Pride.

A Vibrant and Inclusive Design Contest
SeattleFWC26's Pride Match Design Contest, created with local LGBTQ+ artists, produced designs by finalists Kelly Bjork, Shayla Hufana, and Sharon Blyth-Moss that appeared in posters, scarves, and pins as part of the city-wide Pride Match Day celebration. Through their designs, we celebrate a legacy of inclusion and pride that reaches far beyond the pitch, reminding us that in Seattle, every color, every identity, and every fan belongs.
