SeattleFWC26 and Boeing partnered with Joint Base Lewis-McChord to bring the FIFA World Cup to servicemembers, families and employees through a series of watch parties held on base throughout the tournament.

Watching Together
The World Cup was happening just up the road in Seattle, but not everyone could make the trip to the stadium or the region’s public fan celebrations.
Working with JBLM Morale, Welfare and Recreation, SeattleFWC26 and Boeing hosted watch parties at the Warrior Zone and The Bowl Arena, giving the JBLM community a place of its own to follow the tournament together.
The gatherings continued throughout the World Cup, bringing service members, families and employees together for matches from around the world.

From the Base to the Stadium
For 30 members of the JBLM community, the experience extended beyond the watch parties. With support from Boeing, they attended Seattle’s June 24 match between Qatar and Bosnia & Herzegovina at Lumen Field.
Puget Sound Energy also donated a Selfless Station for JBLM, bringing one of the locally designed installations found throughout the region onto the base.
Together, the watch parties, match tickets and Selfless Station gave the JBLM community several ways to take part in a tournament unfolding in their own backyard.
