Selfless Stations are a network of 26 eight-foot-tall neon art installations, created by Western Neon and Shogo Ota, that each spotlight a local community nonprofit while serving as a photo backdrop for fans throughout the tournament.
Selfies With a Purpose
Each of the 26 Selfless Stations is dedicated to a different Washington nonprofit, using the visibility of the World Cup to shine a light on organizations doing community work — all while giving fans an eye-catching spot to snap a photo.
A Citywide Network
Installed alongside the SEA Beacons as part of the broader #FollowTheFlukes campaign, the Selfless Stations extend the reach of the Unity Loop's public art network into neighborhoods across Seattle.
Built by Western Neon and Shogo Ota
The Stations were designed and fabricated by SODO-based Western Neon in collaboration with artist Shogo Ota, whose work also includes the Seattle Host City Poster and other Unity Loop artwork.
