SeattleFWC26 partnered with Street Art for Mankind to commission large-format murals by international artists Leo Shallat and INO, kicking off the organization's public art campaign in downtown Seattle in summer 2025.

SeattleFWC26 unveiled two large-format murals curated by Street Art for Mankind as the opening move in its public art campaign. Leo Shallat's mural, "United Currents," was painted next to the Seattle Central Library, while INO's piece, "United by Nature," floats above Harbor Steps, visible from Overlook Walk.
Part of a Larger Canvas
The murals joined a broader collection of Unity Loop artwork — including 29 commissioned artists and more than 32 pieces along the route — that together celebrate soccer, culture, and community throughout downtown Seattle.
Painted to Stay
Unveiled a year ahead of the tournament, the murals were intended to give Seattle a head start on its public art legacy, offering residents and visitors free, accessible artwork that remains part of the cityscape well beyond the six World Cup matches.
